Rivers Intergenerational Concert May 18
The Golden Tones will be participating in the Spring Choral Concert
of the Rivers Youth Choruses on Sunday, May 18 at 3:30 PM in the Rivera
Recital Hall located in the red building at the Rivers School Conservatory
at 333 Winter Street in Weston. The Rivers Youth Choruses are directed
by Susan Emmanouilides and accompanied by Paul Huberdeau. The Golden
Tones is conducted by Founder Maddie Sifantus and accompanied at this
concert by Lena Baliakhova and founding accompanist, 95 year old Lina
MacNeill. A centerpiece of the concert will be a reprise of the piece
that Stephen Murray composed and arranged for the Golden Tones, “Make
a Little Noise.” Admission is free and the concert site is handicapped
accessible. Both the Rivers Choruses of school age singers and the Golden
Tones chorus of singers over 55 will welcome new singers in September.
